A Touch of Human

So gentle a thing as water
Can cut through flesh when ice
The pleasingly rain in drought
Can anger n' wipe city’s throughout.

So pleasant the taste of honey
a risky sting disables you for day’s,
And the inspired merging of loved souls
Can leave heartache for decades.

So attained with reasons the intellect,
yet scant doubts impair friendships forever.
And young heartening ambitions,
those stern will, with time may fade.

So abundant are the earths resources
Yet hunger persists in every region,
And then beautiful life in itself,
often crumble to prosaic habits.

So in that very moment of discontent,
let your wisdom shine through,
And resist that eccentric revenge within,
to add a touch of human in you.

In times like corona

In times like corona,
worlds still from it’s routine.

We look both ways through windows gazing,
into empty roads, that we were once brazing,
But perhaps more into a search within,
for citation of anew beginning.

As age crosses us one more time,
all meticulous plans are put on arrest.
We bow our heads down to drawing board,
searching the pleasures of childhood known.

The treasures I find, lives in innovative work
of surgeons, thinkers, architects - the lot
And in this isolation of time,
may one find the rejoice
Under the shelter of an inquisitive mind.

If only

If only,
lies were all a mystery,
and truth was always history.
Wars were sold as fiction,
and compassion the daily news diction.

If only,
there was a currency of knowledge,
and an equation for peace.
Hunted treasures were lost souls,
and forgotten acts of kindnesses retold.

If only,
we fed on the power of sadness,
and dodged the dice of flattery.
We could imprison dogma,
to seize custody of our dreams.

Perhaps, only then
one could register the wonders,
of this radiant earth so gleam.

Teenage dream

Round n’ round we go
Scream n’ shout we did
Hop n’ hopped the ropes
Jump and jumped the bounds

Rip n’ ripped the boards
Rebelled n’ rebels we were
Chase n’ chased that will
Love and loved our thrills.

Fight n’ fought no cause
Smoke n’ smoked the fun
Pump n’ pumped we were
Its teen and teenage dreams

Taunt n’ haunt the kids
Old n’ the older still
Fast n’ faster we passed
each race and raced in time

Fly n’ flew we past
All times and timed age
the Passions n' passionate affairs
of the teens and teenage dreams.

Reverie

Flirting sunshine in shades of grey,
hints for a smile on a busy day.
Colored glasses reflecting a hidden soul,
by and by the smiles begin to grow.

Reduced tempo of the tapping toes,
pause awhile into sudden glare.
Absorbing fortunes from the star,
brings hope in you untold.

The shades of pastel with changing light,
reveals an art beyond the frame.
All travelers of searching soul,
draw close to a satisfying end.

As the clouds of doubts disappear,
to radiant gleam and twinkling eyes.
Looking at the heavens above,
we have, have found our dreams.

The intrepid

Oh what a fool I've been,
laying in memories for time being.
In the whole enchilada I see,
associates back to familiarity.
Have come a long long way,
thorough missions in a tragic past.
Haunting in the glory of bygone
wane to find anew each day.

But time is no excuse,
For the one that strives for verity,
if one is true to own divine,
there’s no pain but sovereignty.

As only a mighty
can fight the war of hope within,
to amend the very thought,
from slothful habitual undertaking.

It’s that slightest change
sets apart ones every resolution,
bringing life to a definitive conclusion.
Kindling the passions of love and accord,
to steer every consequential action.
and bring peace within mind and soul,
together they'd stay and live unafraid.
