Cafe

Wondering at the lightning in shades of dismay
Will you ever find her a day?
What if these thoughts are a mere delusion
and that she was'nt born to date.

For this poem sake let us go on,
and consider she is amongst us here on.
Sitting beside in this very cafe,
reading a book with no acknowledgement of you at all

Should one stand up to address her
or continue on the coffee sitting here,
Feeling as though you were born a second ago,
with childish fear of the past you can’t seem to let go.

You wait and wait but time seems a still
and the lunch break nears an end,
But you continue to gaze at the beautiful soul
with an illusion your desk and work can wait.

Now one knows not the truth of life
or post this moment if you’ll seek her anymore,
Or if this magic that lifts your soul
would happen this once or ever again

Her hair at length falls down upon
and eyes that look up with no question at all,
You hope and hope for that glance of love
to look into you and smile just once...
As you stepped out that door together
the eyes met and acknowledged the other,
Before you turned and part seperate ways
for a moment she did make magic come real.

And perhaps you shall never meet again
But one is now sure that the hope of her
will never be 'Unreal'.
